About Me

I am a Designer and Developer of many things, mostly related to the internet. I have spent most of my life living in Indiana, but the most recent years living in Charleston South Carolina, and I love it. From high school and on I knew I wanted to be a designer of some sort, but didn't always really know what that meant. In my spare time I taught myself how to build basic websites, but that fell to the way side when I transitioned into college life. I began acquiring a degree in Graphic Design and eventually did so successfully. But in the time it took to complete this degree I realize my true passion, which was for the web!

I began rekindling my love for building websites and web related technologies and fell back in love with it. From graduating college on I dedicated most of my time to learning more and more about Web Design and Development in general and began my first internship, or as we like to call it "Creative Assistantship" at a small start up in town called "foTYPE" (yes this is the correct spelling). I have grown so much in my knowledge of design and development and I now work full time for foTYPE as a Web Developer / Design consultant (that one was a self titled position).

I have a passion for seeing things built and fully realized and I just love to be apart of that, whatever it may be! There is no avenue I won't at least attempt to enter just for the sake of challenge and learning experience.

I must also mention here that I am also passionate about my love for God and my church family, without them I would not be the man I am today, and would not be in the position I am now, nor would I be able to bless others with the gifts God has given to me!

In my spare time, when I'm not doing more Web Design outside of my job of doing Web Design, I spend time with friends hanging out sometimes with beer in hand, and some sort of board game component in the other. I play soccer most weekends when it's nice (I'm not that good however) and I try to donate my spare time to helping out at Charleston Coder Dojo
